Ablekuma North uproar as NPP Ahiagbah accuses EC of trampling voters

A top party official has predicted victory for his candidate despite election chaos. Richard Ahiagbah serves as National Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party and believes the opposition will fail. He accused election officials of trying to overturn what voters really wanted. The party boss urged people to back NPP candidate Nana Akua Owusu Afriyie when they vote again on Friday. Ahiagbah posted angry messages telling supporters that the will of the people must not be overturned.

The candidate herself refuses to give up even though her party leaders want to boycott the rerun. Afriyie told reporters she remains confident about winning the parliamentary seat. She claimed she already won the original election and deserves to represent the area. The determined politician said darkness cannot cover light and called herself the truth. Afriyie promised that God will ensure justice prevails when people vote again.

Election officials ordered a fresh vote at 19 polling stations after disputes about the original results. The NPP leadership decided to boycott the rerun but Afriyie breaks ranks with her party. She insists on fighting for what she believes belongs to her. The candidate told everyone in Ablekuma North to hear her voice. Afriyie walks with God and believes nobody can cheat her out of victory.
