Acer unleashes 500Hz Predator monitor, QD-OLED, and 6K pro display

Acer just announced a whole stack of monitors, because why settle for one niche? Leading the pack is the Predator XB273U F6, a twenty-seven-inch screen made for esports with a wild five hundred hertz refresh rate at 1440p. It even has a special mode that drops the resolution to 720p to hit one thousand hertz for maximum tryharding. The panel still covers a good chunk of the DCI-P3 color space and gets decently bright. It will cost about eight hundred bucks in the US starting this quarter.

For people who want better visuals without totally giving up speed, there is the Predator X34 F3. This one is a thirty-four-inch curved QD-OLED screen with a 1440p ultrawide resolution and a still-insane three hundred sixty hertz refresh rate. That one is priced much higher, starting at around twelve hundred dollars. Acer also showed off a Nitro model, the XV270X P, which can switch between a super sharp 5K resolution at one hundred sixty-five hertz or a smoother 1440p mode at three hundred thirty hertz, also for eight hundred dollars.

They did not forget the professional crowd either. The ProDesigner PE320QX is a thirty-two-inch monitor with a 6K resolution aimed at color-critical work, and it will set you back about fifteen hundred dollars. All these screens are scheduled to hit North America and China in the second quarter of this year, with Europe getting them a little later. The announcements show Acer throwing different types of displays at every kind of user, from latency-obsessed competitors to people who need pixel-perfect accuracy.
