AMD RX 9060 XT ready to rumble with Nvidia RTX 5060 Ti

AMD is preparing to launch its midrange Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card soon. New details reveal it will pack 2048 Stream Processors, about half what the RX 9070 XT offers. The card will feature game clock speeds at 2620 MHz, with boost clocks reaching 3230 MHz. Custom overclocked versions might push speeds up to 3.3 GHz, marking significant improvements over the previous RX 7600 XT model.

The new GPU uses the Navi 44 die with a 128-bit memory interface. Gigabyte recently listed custom Gaming and Gaming OC editions of the RX 9060 XT in both 8GB and 16GB memory configurations. These listings appeared alongside several RTX 5060 Ti variants, suggesting both companies plan nearly simultaneous releases. The NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti may cost $399-$499 with faster GDDR7 memory, which means AMD likely aims for a lower price point.

AMD has not announced an official release date for the RX 9060 XT. Experts expect a formal announcement during the upcoming Computex trade show. The RX 9060 XT directly targets NVIDIA's RTX 5060 Ti with comparable specifications and performance, showing that AMD remains committed to competing aggressively in the mainstream graphics card market.
