Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim touched down at Kota Kinabalu International Airport to launch campaign activities for the 17th Sabah State Election across a packed schedule spanning multiple constituencies. His agenda includes youth engagement sessions at the International Technology and Commercial Centre in Penampang, community visits to fire victims in Kampung Petagas, and outreach programs in Kampung Duvanson, Putatan.

Evening events feature a gathering with Chinese community members in Kota Kinabalu and multiple public rallies across various venues, including Kampung Padang and Inanam New Township locations. The following session brings the prime minister to meet constituents in Tulid and Melalap areas, with stops planned for Kampung Menawo Ulu in Keningau and Tenom districts.

The Election Commission has designated advance balloting before the main polling exercise for all 73 contested seats across the state.
