Apple iPhone 17 Pro Goes Wild With 12GB RAM

New iPhones planned for next year might include more memory. Apple wants to add 12GB of RAM to iPhone 17 Pro models to help them run several apps at once. Samsung will make most of these memory chips, with other companies filling the rest of the orders. This change could cost Apple about 50 percent more than the current memory chips. The company hopes that having multiple suppliers will help lower prices.

Regular iPhone 17 models might keep using 8GB RAM instead of getting the upgrade. Earlier rumors suggested all new models would get more memory, but supply problems changed these plans. Samsung will handle about 70 percent of orders, with SK hynix and Micron splitting the remaining work. These companies might team up with partners to meet demand. We should treat these details carefully since Apple has not made final decisions yet.
