Apple's iPhone 17 is just a sad copy of last year's Android

Apple recently launched its iPhone 17 series with several notable improvements that mirror existing Android capabilities. The company introduced a 48MP telephoto camera, yet Samsung and other manufacturers have offered higher megapixel telephoto sensors for years. Apple redesigned the camera module into a horizontal bar configuration similar to Google Pixel devices from 2021. The iPhone 17 Pro Max boasts enhanced battery performance, though Samsung Galaxy Ultra models and OnePlus phones have already established superior battery standards.

The new iPhones feature 1.2mm bezels on Pro models, matching the slim borders Samsung and Xiaomi achieved earlier this year. Apple expanded 120Hz displays to base models, while Android devices have provided high refresh rates across various price ranges for a considerable time. Samsung recently launched an advertising campaign mocking Apple's gradual adoption of established Android features. Apple traditionally prioritizes refined implementation over pioneering innovation, ensuring consistency before introducing upgrades that appeal to its dedicated customer base.
