Arc B580 price crash, 12GB card hits $249 at Newegg, Walmart

Intel's Arc B580 graphics card achieves widespread retail availability after months of scarcity. The 12GB GPU reaches its $249 manufacturer suggested retail price at major outlets like Newegg and Walmart. Previously, consumers struggled to purchase the card below $300, with some retailers charging nearly $350 during peak demand periods.

The Battlemage architecture GPU launched last December but faced significant supply constraints resembling paper launches. Multiple custom variants from manufacturers like ONIX and ASRock sell between $260 and $280. The reference model maintains the original pricing while overclocked versions command modest premiums.

The flagship Battlemage card features 20 Xe2 cores paired with 12GB GDDR6 memory across a 192-bit interface. Power consumption reaches 190 watts during operation. Performance matches previous generation cards such as AMD's RX 7600 XT and the RTX 4060. The substantial memory capacity provides advantages for 1440p gaming applications compared to competing products with less video memory.
