Army rescues 17 kidnap victims in Kaduna

Army troops saved 17 kidnap victims during a rescue mission in Kaduna. The freed hostages include Samuel Ezekiel, Williams Ezekiel, Duza Ezekiel, Ishaku Ezekiel, Sunday Ezekiel, Alice Ezekiel, Victoria Ezekiel, Favor Ezekiel, Rebecca Obadiah, Blessing Obadiah, Alheri Obadiah, Gift Obadiah, Jummai Obadiah, Gloria Obadiah, Charity Obadiah, Friday Jessy, and Theresa Friday. Soldiers from Section 1, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, carried out the successful operation. Medical staff checked all rescued people before they received treatment for their injuries.

The military handed over the freed hostages to the Kaduna State Police right after their medical checks. Police officials helped reunite the victims with their waiting families on the same day.
