Ashok Choudhary slaps Kishor with Rs 100 crore notice over property jibe

Bihar Minister Ashok Choudhary rejected corruption accusations from Jan Suraaj leader Prashant Kishor regarding alleged undisclosed assets worth Rs 200 crore. Choudhary filed a Rs 100 crore defamation notice against Kishor and demanded a public apology. The JD(U) politician argued that his properties appeared in election affidavits submitted to authorities in April last year. He challenged Kishor to present concrete evidence rather than making unsubstantiated claims during media events. Choudhary stated he would pursue legal remedies if Kishor failed to retract his statements.

Kishor had previously targeted several politicians from different parties with corruption allegations. The accusations against Choudhary generated the strongest response among those mentioned. Political tensions continue rising as Bihar approaches its 2025 Assembly elections. Choudhary described the charges as politically motivated attempts to mislead voters. He maintained readiness to defend his position through sworn court testimony.
