ASRock BIOS Blunder Burns Ryzen 9000 Users

ASRock prepares BIOS version 3.25 for 800-series motherboards. The update targets problems that Ryzen 9000 CPU users have experienced for months. Many Ryzen 7 9800X3D processors suffered damage when paired with these motherboards. The issues appear connected to PBO settings that cause physical harm to chips. ASRock Korea announced the upcoming release on their official website.

The new firmware uses AMD AGESA 1.2.03d as its foundation. ASRock designed the update to improve compatibility between Ryzen processors and 800-series boards. The company wants to optimize PBO technology for safer system operation. Previous BIOS patches failed to stop the damage from happening. The Korean division promises better monitoring of platform performance going forward.

ASRock will replace both damaged CPUs and motherboards caused by this problem. Users must submit warranty claims through official Korean distributors for processing. The company accepts responsibility for hardware failures linked to their motherboard designs. Customers can expect diagnosis and replacement through authorized channels. ASRock Korea pledges to maintain customer trust through these repair programs.
