ASUS adds ROG Crosshair X870E Extreme and Apex boards for Ryzen 9000

ASUS released two new motherboards for high-end computer builds. The company added the ROG Crosshair X870E Extreme and Crosshair X870E Apex to its product line. Both boards work with AMD Ryzen 9000 series processors. They feature advanced power systems and cooling options. The motherboards also support fast storage and network connections.

The Crosshair X870E Apex targets users who want better memory performance. It uses only two memory slots to reduce interference between signals. This design helps achieve higher memory speeds when overclocking. The board has an 18+2+2 power system with large heat sinks. It offers three fast storage slots and multiple cooling fan connections.

The Crosshair X870E Extreme targets users with the most powerful processors like the Ryzen 9 9950X3D. It features a 20+2+2 power system for demanding tasks. The board includes NitroPath technology that improves memory signals. This allows memory to run up to 400 MT/s faster than standard speeds. The motherboard has dual network ports and advanced overclocking tools.

Both motherboards support PCIe 5.0 technology for graphics cards and storage drives. They include WiFi 7 for wireless connections up to 6.5 Gbps. The boards feature tool-free installation for storage drives. German-speaking European markets will receive these products first.

The Crosshair X870E Extreme costs around 1,200 dollars. The Crosshair X870E Apex sells for about 825 dollars. Both boards target enthusiasts who build premium gaming computers. They compete with other high-end motherboards in the market. ASUS designed them for users who demand top performance from their systems.
