Atomfall Fallout Frenzy and Nutty Nuclear Escapade

Rebellion has just released its new game, Atomfall. This indie studio, known for Sniper Elite and Zombie Army games, made Atomfall available today across many platforms. You can play it through Game Pass or buy it for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC through Windows, Steam, or Epic Games Store. PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 players can also enjoy the game. Atomfall works great on Steam Deck.

The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic UK setting and draws inspiration from the real Windscale nuclear accident that happened back in the 1950s. Players will meet strange characters as they try to figure out what went wrong at the Atom Plant. Your goal is to solve the mystery and find a way out of the Quarantine Zone. The game blends science fiction with folk horror and Cold War themes.

You can purchase Atomfall as a Standard Edition in digital form across all platforms. Console players also have the option to buy a physical copy published by Fireshine Games. The Deluxe Edition offers extra content but comes only in a digital format. This premium version includes the Basic Supply Bundle with a special melee weapon variant, additional loot, and a crafting recipe.

The Deluxe package also contains an Enhanced Supply Bundle featuring an exclusive pistol variant, a metal detector skin, and character upgrades. Buyers will later receive the Story Expansion Pack called Wicked Isle when it becomes available. If you start with the Standard Edition and want more content later, you can purchase the Deluxe Upgrade separately.

Atomfall offers a unique single-player experience where you investigate and explore to solve mysteries. The game takes inspiration from classic British sci-fi like The Day of the Triffids, early Doctor Who episodes, and The Quatermass Experiment. Combat feels intense as you switch between precise shooting and close-quarters fighting. You'll craft items, search abandoned houses for supplies, and hunt for treasures with your metal detector.

The game lets you shape your character through conversations with non-player characters and includes RPG elements with skill trees. Standard Edition prices vary by platform, with console versions priced at £54.99, $59.99, or €59.99, and PC versions at £44.99, $49.99, or €49.99. The Deluxe Edition costs £74.99, $79.99, or €79.99 on consoles and £64.99, $69.99, or €69.99 on PC. The Deluxe Upgrade sells for £20.99, $24.99, or €24.99 across all platforms.
