Bagnaia weeps as Ducati career crumbles in Indonesia

Ducati rider Pecco Bagnaia finished last at the Indonesian MotoGP on Sunday, and the result marked a steep decline from his dominant performance at Motegi one week earlier. The reigning champion lost several seconds per lap to rookie Somkiat Chantra at the Mandalika circuit. Ducati team director Davide Tardozzi described Bagnaia as devastated by the outcome, but he declined to discuss specific details about the rider's emotional state after Bagnaia avoided media appearances.

The weekend presented additional challenges for Ducati after Marc Marquez suffered a serious injury that could end his season. Tardozzi attributed the incident to misfortune, and he stated the accident was unavoidable. The team director confirmed that engineers will analyze Bagnaia's performance struggles in Bologna, and Ducati maintains its support for the world champion despite the setback.
