Bangladesh and Oman established a diplomatic training partnership through a formal agreement signed during the United Nations General Assembly session in New York. Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain met with Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi to finalize this cooperation framework. Both officials praised the strong relationship between their nations and committed to expanding collaborative efforts across multiple sectors. The adviser thanked Oman for supporting approximately 700,000 Bangladeshi workers and requested additional employment opportunities.

The Foreign Service Academy of Bangladesh partnered with the Diplomatic Academy of Oman through this memorandum. This arrangement will facilitate knowledge sharing and professional development programs between the institutions. Both countries expect enhanced diplomatic engagement and stronger bilateral partnerships to result from this educational cooperation initiative.
