Bashundhara Shuvosangho Plants Trees at Barishal University

Bashundhara Shuvosangho members grabbed their shovels and headed to Barishal University campus on Tuesday for a major tree planting event. The student group threw this green party to celebrate launching their brand new campus committee. Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Taufiq Alam showed up as the main guest at this earth-friendly gathering. Several faculty advisers joined the festivities along with top student leaders from the organization.

Dr Rahat Hossain Faisal, Md Farhad Uddin, Dr Ziasimoni Khatun, Tayyebun Nahar Mimi, and Arafat Shahriar all came out to support the cause. Student President Tanjid Shahjalal Emon worked alongside General Secretary Meherab Hossain and Organising Secretary Arif Hossain to make everything happen. The university chief gave props to Bashundhara Shuvosangho for always helping out poor communities across Bangladesh. He talked about how these students really care about making life better for people who need support.

The organizers made it clear this tree planting marks just the start of their environmental mission. They want to keep pushing for a cleaner, greener campus that students can enjoy for years to come. Students spread out across different spots around the university grounds and planted dozens of young trees. Each new sapling represents their promise to protect the environment and fight climate change through direct action.
