Dennis Miracles Aboagye blasted the current government for lying about their famous work policy. The former Vice President aide said politicians made false promises about jobs and government offices staying open all night. Aboagye appeared on Channel One TV and ripped apart the National Democratic Congress for misleading voters. He claimed the ruling party told people that government workers would take shifts around the clock. The critic said leaders promised banks would hand out money at midnight.
The opposition spokesman attacked the policy document that came out July 2nd. Aboagye said the real plan looks nothing like what campaign workers promised during election season. He reminded viewers that politicians talked about hiring extra people for every government job. The critic said party members even made television ads showing people doing banking business after dark. Aboagye insisted his team warned everyone that such promises could never work.
The former aide said the new government just wants to try different economic ideas and hope something good happens. He accused ruling party members of breaking their word to citizens who voted for change. Aboagye claimed the current approach has nothing to do with what leaders promised before winning power. Lawyer Hamza Suhuyini from the ruling party asked people to wait patiently for results. The government supporter said the policy needs eighteen months before anyone can judge whether it creates jobs and helps the economy grow stronger.
