Berekum Police arrest David Frimpong for narcotics

A suspected drug stash hidden in an uncompleted building just got busted, and a Berekum man is now in custody facing some serious narcotic charges.

  • The Berekum Divisional Police Command arrested 39-year-old David Frimpong at an uncompleted building in Nyamebekyere, Berekum Municipality.
  • Cops pulled out 57 compressed slabs, 195 wraps, and three sacks of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp from the scene.
  • Frimpong tried to bolt during the arrest but got subdued and taken into custody on the spot.
  • All retrieved exhibits are being held for evidence and forensic examination.
