Bobi Wine slams police for rigged campaign crackdown

Bobi Wine is calling out the police chief for making up stories about his campaign being violent and breaking rules. The NUP candidate says security forces are dressing up fake supporters to start trouble, and then they use those incidents as an excuse to crack down on his actual rallies around the country.

Police keep saying his crew attacks officers and runs processions that mess up traffic, but Bobi Wine says the government applies those same rules differently when NRM holds events. He pointed out how Museveni's rally in Mbarara had massive convoys blocking roads with zero consequences, and the prime minister has been campaigning way past the allowed cutoff time.

He also pushed back on assault allegations by bringing up past incidents where his people got shot or run over by police vehicles. Bobi Wine says cameras are the only weapon his side uses, and any violence gets pinned on agents pretending to be supporters.
