Bobi Wine Storms Gulu to Fire Up NUP

Robert Kyagulanyi visited Gulu City on Monday to speak with National Unity Platform members from northern regions. The party president held his meeting at the Okura Hotel with political workers from the West Nile, Acholi, Lango, and Karamoja areas. Leaders from these different parts of northern Uganda came together to hear from their national party head. Kyagulanyi wanted to encourage local organizers who face pressure from government officials. The NUP president spoke directly to grassroots political workers about staying strong during difficult times.

Kyagulanyi told northern leaders that the current government intentionally creates fights between different parts of Uganda. He believes officials want people from the north and central regions to argue with each other. The opposition leader asked his supporters to learn more about their country's past and present situation. He urged them to study Uganda's history before making important political choices. Local party members should research current events to make better decisions for their communities.

Lewis Rubongoya reminded young people to prepare for the youth elections on June 6th. Harriet Ageno campaigns for the Dokolo Woman MP seat and said Kyagulanyi's visit gave her energy. She promised that northern NUP members would work hard for the upcoming general election. Party supporters across the region feel motivated after meeting their national leader.
