Bratislava gets sweaty for Viksit Bharat

The Indian Embassy in Slovakia hosted a running event Sunday that drew more than 75 participants to Bratislava streets. Indian diaspora members and Slovak citizens joined the Viksit Bharat Run 2025 while carrying national flags. Participants wore event shirts during the gathering. The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports coordinates this global campaign across 150 locations in 91 countries during Seva Pakhwada. The initiative runs from September 17 through October 2 and represents India's first worldwide community outreach effort. Participants complete 3-5 kilometer routes at landmark sites worldwide. The program aims to unite overseas Indians with local communities around the vision of achieving Viksit Bharat by 2047. Embassy officials organized the event to promote health and solidarity.
