Brendan Taylor torches Botswana as Harare crowd howls

Zimbabwe demolished Botswana by 170 runs during the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifiers at Harare Sports Club. The comprehensive victory marked their second straight win, and it reinforced their dominance in Group A. Veteran wicketkeeper Brendan Taylor starred with his maiden T20 century, blasting 123 runs from 54 balls. Brian Bennett added 65 runs from 33 deliveries as Zimbabwe reached 259 for five.

Botswana never threatened during their reply, finishing on 89 for eight after 20 overs. Richard Ngarava struck with his first ball to dismiss the opening batsman, and Evans captured three wickets for 12 runs. Zimbabwe meets Tanzania next to conclude their group matches, and victory would secure top position for the knockout stage.
