Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah commissioned 530 Blue Water Guards at the Western Naval Command in Ezinlibo. The ceremony marked completion of the second training phase under Ghana's Blue Water Initiative. These new graduates join 453 previously trained guards, bringing the total to 983 personnel. The government plans to train 2,000 guards this year to fight illegal mining activities.
