Cops are hunting for a group of men after a brutal double murder at a shopping center. Police in Bulawayo released CCTV images of suspects wanted for stabbing two people to death at Chigumira Shopping Centre in Luveve. The victims, identified as Bishop Ncube and Malachi Ndlovu, were killed in separate but linked incidents in October. Inspector Nomalanga Msebele confirmed the details, stating the suspects appear to be illegal miners.
The first attack happened around two in the morning. A woman alerted a man socializing at the center about a fight involving Ncube and seven other men. He found Ncube bleeding badly from stab wounds inside a bar. Ncube died at Mpilo Central Hospital. Police, following a blood trail, then discovered Ndlovu's body outside with deep stab wounds. Detectives later pulled footage from the shopping center's cameras showing the suspects.
Authorities are now asking the public for help identifying the men in the video. Inspector Msebele provided contact numbers for CID Homicide Bulawayo and Detective Assistant Inspector Nkomo. Releasing the images is part of a push to solve the case and improve safety in the Luveve area. The investigation remains active as police work to track down the group captured on camera.
