Carousel, Baker's Inn fuel Bulawayo's industrial comeback

Information Minister Dr Jenfan Muswere announced Bulawayo's return as Zimbabwe's manufacturing center through Second Republic policy support. Government officials toured leading manufacturers to assess industrial progress under President Mnangagwa's re-industrialization program. Investment policies create favorable business conditions for expanding production capacity.

Carousel Manufacturing increased monthly output to 45,000 units with plans reaching 100,000 units by year-end. Baker's Inn completed a 27 million dollar expansion featuring advanced robotics producing 245,000 loaves daily. The automated Belmont bakery represents cutting-edge technology outside South Africa's borders. Presidential interventions resolved electricity challenges and provided retooling capital for manufacturers. Specialized technician training programs in Italy support ongoing equipment modernization efforts.
