The Welshman Ncube-led Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) won't talk to Sengezo Tshabangu anymore. They say he's just a regular member of the party.
Willias Madzimure speaks for Ncube's group. He told The Standard that talking to Tshabangu would make it seem like he leads a political party. But Tshabangu says he's the secretary general of CCC. Madzimure thinks he can't be both a leader and secretary general simultaneously.
Madzimure also said Tshabangu has no right to determine who is legitimate in the party and who is not. He's just an ordinary member, so he doesn't get to make those calls.
There are some disagreements within the CCC about roles and leadership. Ncube's faction doesn't want to give Tshabangu any extra power or importance by talking to him directly. They're making it clear he's not on their level.
