CD Projekt RED Cyberpunk 2077 patch 2.3 live stream ignites car fury

CD Projekt RED prepares to showcase Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.3 during a livestream event scheduled for Wednesday. The Polish studio will broadcast the presentation across multiple platforms at 8am Pacific Time. Viewers can access the stream through Twitch and YouTube channels simultaneously. Associate game director Paweł Sasko will join lead designer Adrien Jouannet from Virtuos for the demonstration. The developers plan to reveal comprehensive details about the upcoming update during this broadcast.

Marketing materials suggest the patch focuses heavily on vehicle mechanics and automotive systems within Night City. CD Projekt RED used automotive terminology and imagery when announcing the presentation to fans. The studio described the featured developers as passengers while emphasizing driving themes throughout promotional content. Tire emojis and references to checking under the hood accompanied the official announcement. These clues point toward significant improvements to the transportation experience within the dystopian metropolis.

The timing coincides with Cyberpunk 2077 expanding to Apple Silicon Mac computers on July 17. This marks the second platform launch for the action role-playing game during 2025. Nintendo Switch 2 users gained access to the title earlier this year at the console's debut. CD Projekt RED previously reported sales exceeding 30 million copies across all platforms. The addition of Mac and Nintendo Switch 2 audiences may substantially increase these figures as the game reaches new demographics.
