Channel Robot releases Atmosia 3 instrument

Channel Robot has released a comprehensive update to Tracktion's atmospheric sound design software that expands its capabilities for creating cinematic audio environments. The fourth iteration features a redesigned interface centered around an enhanced X-Y control pad with improved modulation path management and new offset adjustments for recorded automation data.

The virtual instrument's four-voice architecture supports more than 700 sound sources and provides expanded per-voice parameters including complete ADSR envelope control, dedicated filter shaping, tremolo and vibrato modulation options, and customizable pitch bend settings. A keyboard split function allows different note ranges to be assigned to individual voices while the effects selection has grown from eight to 28 modules including a ring modulation filter. The arpeggiator system supports multiple playback directions and probability controls while the modulation framework includes dedicated LFOs for core parameters plus six assignable modulators.

Atmosia 3 operates on Windows 10 or later and macOS 10.13 or higher systems through VST3 and AU formats, with the software available for $69.
