Chaos on North-South Expressway as bus slams trailer and passengers flee

A speeding express bus slammed into the back of a massive trailer during the early morning hours along the busy North-South Expressway. The violent collision sent four female passengers to hospital with cuts and bruises after the impact shook everyone aboard. Emergency crews raced to the crash site at kilometer 243.9 when desperate calls flooded the emergency hotline at 2:52 AM. Fire and rescue teams from three different stations rushed to help the victims trapped inside the mangled vehicle. The northbound lanes became a disaster zone as first responders worked frantically to secure the area.

Thirty terrified passengers packed the bus when it careened into the trailer's rear end during the pre-dawn darkness. Thirteen men, sixteen women, and one frightened child scrambled for safety as the vehicle came to a grinding halt. Four adult women bore the brunt of the crash and needed immediate medical attention for their wounds. Everyone managed to escape the wreckage before professional rescuers could reach the remote location. Both the bus operator and trailer driver walked away from the accident without a scratch.

Paramedics treated the injured women at the roadside before ambulances whisked them away to nearby hospitals. The massive cleanup operation stretched until 4:05 AM as crews worked to clear the twisted metal and debris. Traffic backed up for miles as authorities investigated the cause of the devastating crash.
