Police gunned down two bad guys during a wild shootout at the highway entrance ramp. The action happened at 8:05 this morning when officers spotted a sketchy SUV driving around Jitra. Cops told the vehicle to pull over but the crooks inside had different plans. The suspects started blasting away at the police car with their guns. Both criminals ended up dead after the fierce gun battle.
Officers discovered a scary collection of weapons inside the suspects' ride. They found a revolver and a semi-automatic pistol loaded with bullets. The dead men also packed a sharp machete and various tools for pulling off crimes. Police counted three bullet shells scattered around the shooting scene.
One dead suspect was 41 years old and had racked up more than 40 arrests on his rap sheet. The other guy carried no identification and remains a mystery to investigators. Cops think both men belonged to a dangerous gang that has terrorized Malaysia since 2020. The criminal crew pulls off violent robberies, breaks into factories, deals drugs and causes mayhem across the country.
Police suspect these dead crooks worked with a massive criminal organization based in Klang. That gang reportedly has more than 30 active members causing trouble. Investigators plan to crack down harder on the entire criminal network. The bodies went to the hospital for examination and the case continues.
