Chillmaster Pleads Not Guilty in Deadly Crash

Musician Chillmaster says he did not cause the death of 50-year-old Caston Charambira. He also denied driving without a license when he appeared before Magistrate Tatenda Mukurunge yesterday. The victim died at the scene after Chillmaster's car hit him as he walked along the road from Stoneridge toward MaSteps. Charambira suffered broken legs and head injuries before his burial in Zaka.

Prosecutor Idrissa Mustapha Mupandasekwa asked the defense team to show the driver's license or agree on facts. The state offered to drop the license charge if the document exists. The defense rejected this suggestion, claiming the prosecutor wanted to finish the case early. They insisted the matter should go through a complete trial. The magistrate scheduled the trial to start tomorrow.

People online have mixed feelings about Chillmaster's not guilty plea. Some demand justice because failing to show a license breaks the law. Others think his lawyer gave bad advice that might lead to jail time. A few suggest he faces the results of his actions, whether the crash happened accidentally or not.
