Kinondoni District Commissioner Saad Mtambule told people in Dar es Salaam that learning Chinese makes sense right now because the language opens doors globally and helps Tanzania make more money through cooperation with Beijing. Matthew Senga from the University of Dar es Salaam explained that partnerships with the Chinese government already exist, and speaking the language helps everyone vibe better across cultures while strengthening other sectors.
