Chris Brown Back in Court During UK Stadium Tour

Chris Brown started his UK tour at Manchester's Co-op Live arena Sunday night. Thousands of fans cheered for the Grammy winner who faces court appearances this Friday. Police charged him with grievous bodily harm over a 2023 nightclub incident. He paid five million pounds bail money to stay free during his tour. The singer thanked supporters and joked about his jail time.

Brown stands accused of attacking a music producer with a tequila bottle at a London nightclub. Manchester police arrested him last month at his hotel. He spent almost one week behind bars before making bail. The court allowed him to continue touring as part of his release conditions. His Breezy Bowl XX tour celebrates twenty years making music.

The R&B star will perform Monday night again in Manchester before moving to other cities. Cardiff's Principality Stadium hosts his Thursday show. Friday brings his court hearing alongside co-defendant Omololu Akinlolu. Weekend concerts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium follow the legal proceedings. Additional shows in Birmingham and Glasgow complete his UK stadium tour.
