ArenaNet released details about three additional elite specializations for Guild Wars 2's upcoming Visions of Eternity expansion. The developer revealed the Paragon, Antiquary, and Ritualist after last week's announcement of the Troubadour, Galeshot, and Luminary classes. Warriors gain access to the Paragon specialization, which combines spear and shield combat with motivation-based vocal abilities that affect surrounding areas. Thieves receive the Antiquary option, featuring Skritt companion assistance and weapon creation through enemy theft mechanics. Necromancers obtain the Ritualist specialization, drawing inspiration from the original Guild Wars profession while summoning weapon spells and spirits.
The company plans to announce the remaining three elite specializations for Revenant, Engineer, and Elementalist professions during the following week. Guild Wars 2's Visions of Eternity expansion launches October 28 with additional content beyond these specializations. Players will explore new zones and participate in fresh raid encounters, fractals, and convergences. The expansion's narrative focuses on the Inquest organization's schemes regarding Castora island. New mastery tracks, equipment, and homestead features accompany the story content.
