DDR5 RAM deals drop below $200 as prices soar

Memory prices have surged to two or three times their manufacturer-suggested retail levels, though several budget options remain available for computer builders facing urgent requirements. V-Color's Manta XSky DDR5 configuration with 32 gigabytes of capacity currently sells at $197 through Newegg after applying promotional discounts, representing the most affordable option for dual-channel kits operating at 6000 megatransfers per second with CL36 latency.

A faster variant running at 6400 megatransfers with tighter CL32 timings costs $219 after code redemption. Standard 16-gigabyte modules have exceeded $100 individually, while complete 32-gigabyte packages typically start around $250, with premium selections surpassing $400. Older DDR4 alternatives remain cheaper, with KingSpec offering pre-orders for 3200-megahertz modules at $85 and V-Color's RGB-equipped variant priced at $119 with CL16 specifications.
