A 21-year-old interior decorator got locked up after allegedly kidnapping and assaulting a 15-year-old student in Atwima-Koforidua. Richard Agyei Bonsu entered a not-guilty plea at the Asante Abuakwa circuit court and will face another hearing next month after cops said he kept the teenager in his room for over 24 hours.
Police claim the girl met an accomplice who assaulted her first before Bonsu took her to his place and held her there until the next afternoon. She went straight home and told her uncle what happened, and he grabbed some people to track down the suspect and hand him over to the authorities. The guy apparently admitted to everything when officers questioned him.
