The Directors Guild of Nigeria has launched several new entities, including the DGN Academy, DGN Studios, and DGN TV. Guild President Uche Agbo described the initiatives as a move to establish a more structured and sustainable creative industry, focusing on institutionalized training and a new platform for content distribution.

The Director General of the Nigeria Film and Video Censors Board, Dr. Shuaibu Husseini, commended the guild for its focus on raising professional standards and creating opportunities for its members.
