Diddy lawyer trashes judge after 4-year sentence

Sean Diddy Combs' defense attorney criticized the presiding judge after the music executive received more than four years in prison on Oct. 3. Marc Agnifilo told reporters that Judge Arun Subramanian functioned as an unchosen 13th juror who questioned the panel's decision. The defense had requested a maximum 14-month sentence after jurors acquitted Combs of racketeering and sex trafficking charges but convicted him on prostitution offenses.

Agnifilo stated the verdict demonstrated all activities were consensual and between adults. The attorney pledged to appeal the ruling and claimed Subramanian improperly emphasized coercion in his sentencing rationale. Combs will receive credit for time already served and faces approximately 36 months remaining on his term.
