DJ Joe Crowned Champion at Thrilling Carling Black Label Clash

DJ Joe, real name Ngonidzashe Isaac, is the new champ of the Carling Black Label DJ Clash. He is 24 years old and beat out 24 other DJs at the Hippodrome in Harare.

DJ Joe won $3,000 in cash, a controller, an Apple MacBook, a studio monitor, and a cordless mic. He was also named Best Mixing DJ.

DJ Tino from Bulawayo came in second place. DJ Lindsay from Harare was third. DJ Tino won $2,000, a studio monitor, and a cordless mic. Last year's winner, DJ Irvene X, won Best Creativity DJ this time.

"I'm so grateful to the organizers for this chance," said DJ Joe. "They put all of us local DJs in the spotlight. This is my first award ever. I want to thank my family. They have always supported me."

Irimayi Muzorewa is Delta Corporation's marketing director. "We are proud to help local DJs," he said. They are using their musical skills to make entertainment better here. This year was really special. We had a lot of people enter. We can't wait for an even bigger event next year."

Saintfloew and Voltz JT played music at the after-party. DJ Levels and DJ Tamuka from Chillspot Records had a fun DJ battle. The crowd loved it.
