Dr. Zoppa added Loop Mode and Meter Lock to AMI-Polymarkov

AMI-Polymarkov 1.6 gives four MIDI parts a new way to loop and change. Dr. Zoppa's generative plugin still learns from an imported MIDI file, but Loop Mode adds a different approach. Each part repeats its opening bars while pulling in bits from other spots in the recording.

DEJA VU controls how much of the base pattern stays put. RETURN sets the odds of an altered beat going back to its first form. WHAT CHANGES handles full beat swaps or pitch edits alone. And LOOP LENGTH lets users pick anywhere from 1 to 32 bars.

Strong beats get fewer edits than weak ones. The plugin also checks nearby notes and pitch classes when it picks new material. That helps the changes fit the music. A separate readout for each voice tracks how far its loop has shifted from the source.

Meter Lock comes switched on by default. It guides the Markov pitch and rhythm chains toward notes that held the same spot within a measure. That keeps downbeats and offbeats in place. Bar size comes from the MIDI time signature, or the DAW host when REC is active. Older projects keep their prior playback behavior.

The plugin costs $29 during the sale, while the full three-plugin AMI-CMMAS set goes for $69. Once the deal ends, those prices rise to $39 and $99.
