Dungeons and Dragons chaos as Wizards of the Coast puts the entire franchise under one boss

Wizards of the Coast just shook up how they handle Dungeons and Dragons. The company moved everything about the fantasy game under one big umbrella. Dan Ayoub landed the top job running the entire franchise. He used to work at Microsoft on Halo games before joining Wizards. The new setup puts books, video games, movies and TV shows all together.

Ayoub seems pretty excited about his new role leading the famous tabletop game brand. He worked his way up from running digital games to taking charge of everything D&D related. The franchise model means better teamwork between different parts of the business. Fans might see more connected stories across different types of media. This change could make D&D stronger as a whole brand.

The company has several video games coming out over the next few years. Different studios are making various types of D&D games for players. One survival game is coming from Gameloft and another action game from Giant Skull. Starbreeze is working on a team-based adventure called Project Baxter. These games should give fans many ways to explore the D&D world.

The movie Honor Among Thieves did not make much money at theaters. Plans for a Paramount TV series have been put on hold for the moment. The company is still working on what comes next for the Baldur's Gate series. Ayoub promised fans would hear more news about future projects soon.
