EADB Pumps 200M to Ignite Job Explosion

Bank Helps East African Countries Make Money and Jobs.

A special bank called EADB has been giving money to help people in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda. In the last five years, they have given more than 200 million dollars to build roads, make things in factories, grow food, and help people live better lives. Their money has helped create 110,000 new jobs.

Mr. Kasaija, who helps run the bank, talked about how the bank makes Uganda better. He was happy because the bank gave 209.4 billion shillings to small business owners in Uganda. This money helped create 35,850 new jobs, many of which went to women who needed work.

The bank has helped more than 10,500 small shops and businesses across East Africa. They gave 99 million dollars to these businesses either directly or through other banks that work with them. Mr. Mono, who runs the bank, spoke at a special breakfast meeting and said there are 1.1 million small businesses in Uganda. He wants to help 10,000 more businesses this year.

The bank has big plans for the next four years. It wants to build more factories, make better roads, help farmers grow more food, and take care of the earth. Other banks think EADB does a great job because they gave it an 'A' grade. This good grade means they can borrow money more easily to help more people.

EADB wants everyone in East Africa to have better lives. They work hard to ensure that their money helps create jobs and brings countries closer together, which improves the lives of all the people who live in these countries.
