Econet Wireless Zimbabwe finished upgrading its network system during the second half of the year ending February 2025. The company built 77 new base stations and improved 546 radio access sites across the country. Workers also upgraded 365 microwave links and added 60 new 5G sites nationwide. The improvements help customers receive faster internet and better phone service. Rural areas received 10 special lightweight towers that bring mobile coverage to remote places.
