Epic Barcelona Rally Leaves Madrid Reeling

Barcelona came back from two goals down to beat Real Madrid 4-3 on Sunday. The win puts Barcelona seven points ahead at the top of La Liga with three games left. Kylian Mbappé scored three times for Madrid, but it was not enough. Barcelona can win the league title with a victory against Espanyol on Thursday. The team has shown great mental strength all season.

Teenager Lamine Yamal starred for Barcelona with a beautiful goal. Eric García, Yamal, and Raphinha with two goals for Barcelona during 26 minutes in the first half. Coach Hansi Flick has led Barcelona to wins against Madrid in four matches this season. Barcelona has already won the Spanish Supercopa and Copa del Rey. Madrid played without their usual defenders and struggled to stop Barcelona.

Mbappé has scored 39 goals for Madrid this season, but said those goals mean nothing without trophies. Barcelona plays with a risky high defensive line that makes games exciting. Both teams had goals disallowed late in the match. Madrid almost scored several times near the end but could not find an equalizer. Barcelona keeps moving forward despite their recent Champions League exit against Internazionale.
