Ethiopian Airlines gives cargo route a wing and a prayer

Ethiopian Airlines just added Macao as its newest cargo spot in China, making it ten places where it flies cargo ships to Chinese cities. The big African plane company wants to help more goods move between Africa, China, and other parts of the world.

These planes will fly twice weekly, each with space for 400 tons of stuff. Ethiopian Airlines keeps finding new ways to help businesses send things around the globe. They pick routes that help both sides make money and build strong business friends. The company shared this news on X for everyone to see.

The airline plans to work more closely with online sellers near Macao. They can team up with businesses all through the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. This helps them become an even bigger player in moving boxes and packages across southern China. With these new flights, they can grab more of that business.

These air routes will speed up the movement of goods between China and Europe and make it easier to send goods between China and Africa. Even South American countries will find it simpler to trade with these areas. When goods travel faster, everyone makes more money from selling things to each other.

Ethiopian Airlines remains the biggest airline company in Africa. It keeps growing by finding new ways to connect people and products worldwide. As it adds more cities like Macao, it helps Africa stay linked to the busiest markets and shopping centers around the globe.
