Ex Top Cop Found in Septic Tank Wrapped in Red Rope

A suspended police commander died after being found inside a septic tank at his home. Senior Superintendent Julius Ahimbisibwe was discovered with a red rope around his head and neck early on Easter Monday. He had been under suspension since March after allegedly shooting his ex-wife during a domestic dispute.

Police are investigating whether the death was suicide. Sources suggest Ahimbisibwe struggled with alcoholism and depression after his suspension. Psychological experts highlight the mental health challenges faced by law enforcement officers.

Authorities are exploring multiple possibilities, noting similar past cases involving bodies found in septic tanks. The death adds to growing concerns about suicide rates among police personnel. Mental health professionals call for better support systems within the police force.
