Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil today announced a RM50 million allocation to Pos Malaysia Berhad to enhance postal services across the country, including in remote and rural areas.
The funds, provided through the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), aim to modernize the postal sector and ensure its relevance and competitiveness in the digital age.
Fahmi highlighted the ongoing importance of postal services, particularly as e-commerce and the digital economy grow, noting that physical mail continues to complement digital communication.
At the launch of Redly Pos Malaysia International for World Post Day 2025, Fahmi introduced Redly, a new cross-border platform that consolidates all of Pos Malaysia’s international mail and shipping services under one brand.
