Police nabbed seven suspects and found stolen government items in Yatta, Machakos County, after locals tipped them off. The group had been running crime sprees around Matuu town, often wearing fake police clothes to trick people. Officers recovered a jungle jacket that looked like police uniform, along with tools for breaking into homes and several knives. The suspects remain at Matuu police station for questioning before they appear in Kithimani court.

He put cash in two envelopes inside his car, one with 900,000 shillings and another with 600,000 shillings. Thieves broke into his vehicle at a hotel near the Nairobi-Mombasa highway during his meeting. Police at Kyumbi station continue looking into the case.
