Mpilo Hospital head Dr Narcisius Dzvanga gave key court statements about Prosper Vanhuvaone yesterday. Dzvanga told the court that hospital files show Vanhuvaone never officially worked there. He first learned about the man after police arrested him last year. Vanhuvaone passed up his chance to question Dzvanga during the hearing. The trial continues Thursday, with more witnesses set to speak.
Vanhuvaone pretended to be Dr Prosper Mpofu for almost two years at Mpilo Central Hospital. He saw patients, wrote prescriptions, and even did the same at United Bulawayo Hospitals.
