A man pretended to be from the official anti-corruption group at Mbare Police Station. Tinotenda Maunganidze tried to free a driver caught breaking traffic rules on Ardbennie Road. He told police officer Wilbert Ngandu he worked for ZACC.
Officer Ngandu asked for proof. Maunganidze showed a card from ZINACO, a different group. The police officer contacted the real ZACC officials. They arrested Maunganidze right away.
