Fetty Wap gets an earlier Dec 2026 release

Fetty Wap will exit federal custody earlier than previously scheduled after prison authorities moved his release forward for a second time. The rapper is expected to leave FCI Sandstone, a minimum security facility in Minnesota, and will face five years of supervised release following his departure.

Federal officials initially projected a release but subsequently revised the timeline twice without providing explanations for the adjustments. Fetty Wap entered the correctional system following his guilty plea to conspiracy charges related to distributing more than 100 kilograms of cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, and crack cocaine across New Jersey and Long Island. A judge imposed a six-year sentence after his conviction.
